The thing that KILLS me about this season between Jiara is that they both know.
Kie knows that JJ is in love with her, he never denies her that. JJ told Kiara he loved her before she told him.
It’s in the way he steps back from her and tells her he has nothing to offer her, and it’s fucked up but it’s his way of sayin like love and I, don’t mix.
And he loves her enough to save her from that.
And Kie, when she told him that she knows he freaks when people get close, I was like BRO. Are you fucking with me?!
This season was about so much more than the big moments, though I love the big moments. Even the finale, I felt was so tender and gentle. Their body language towards each other. It’s subtle because they aren’t there to broadcast it.
I LOVED this season. It gave me such butterflies and I smiled so much. I really loved jiara and how nuanced and delicate and balanced they were. I think we all convinced ourselves they’d be all passion, but I think I love it more that for now, they’re so tender and gentle with each other.
